Grand Theft Auto II is an 2014 British film which was released on June 21, through Universal Studios. The film is based on the aftermath of Grand Theft Auto and is set in several cities across Europe. In February 2014 just after filming began James Harrison announced to his surprise he, Sean Combs and Steven Ogg would reprise their roles from the first film. Harrison confirmed that Niko Bellic from the Grand Theft Auto IV game.



Filming began in February 2014 with an original script the studio planned for Harrison, Combs and Ogg to reprise their roles in the film. Universal announced they had a $175 million budget to work with. Harrison said that he felt the script was better than the previous film and will succeed, he also stated on April 19, 2014 that filming should finish by April 22. On April 26 he announced filming had actually finished on April 23 and that editing should be done mid-May.
